A Few New Things!!

I needed a little something to carry all my ‘do-dads’  for all our shows this year.  You know, scissors, tape, price tags, pens, string, etc.  I think this little vintage make-up case will do the trick, don’t you?

I {re}imagined her in Antoinette and Old White with dark wax.

Here are our new business cards!  LOVE our new logo and tagline.  I will have to explain our ‘tagline’ to you someday soon. It is very meaningful to us!  Any guesses?

We picked up this amazing sewing cabinet.  It is in excellent shape, considering it is from 1910!  We have the papers and everything that came with it, accessories and all. Includes sewing machine.  Willing to sell it ‘as is’ (why would you paint it?)  $100.00.

We got our hands on yet another Hoosier Cabinet!  It needs some work, but is in pretty good shape.  It was stripped and refinished, but the doors and roll top on the upper cabinet were never completed.  (we have the doors and roll top) The bottom drawer needs some love too.  It really is in good shape.  Due to some, ahem, space issues, we will sell this ‘as is’ too.  Fixed up, we would likely sell it for more than $400.  Our ‘as is’ price is $150.

I LOVE this dresser. It is very old and very cool.  I believe that cabinet on the right is for hats!  Isn’t it so pretty.  I will not be selling this ‘as is’, and am not sure if I want to offer it up for a custom job.  I just might want to paint it how ever my little heart desires.  It will be priced a little higher though, this is incredibly unique and well made.  I am guessing in the $350 range.  I might be able to be talked into selling it, if you LOVE it too. Winking smile

I am doing so well preparing for the Mid-Michigan Women’s  Expo in Lansing.  Things are really coming together.  Why do I fret?  My Father always, ALWAYS guides and provides.  When will I learn?

Next week we will have a give-away for 4 free tickets to the Lansing Expo!!

Have a lovely weekend!

Look What We Have Here!

Look what I got a sneak peek at this week.

Expo Card

It felt a bit strange, seeing this.  I wasn’t able to put my finger on the emotions I was feeling at first.  For sure I was humbled, but also affirmed.  I was totally a goober and got teary eyed a couple of times.

This whole experience is such a blessing and has been so challenging too.  I cannot tell you how much I have been stretched throughout this whole process. I am sure the ‘stretching’ will continue as we get closer to the events.  It never ceases to amaze me how the Lord uses the everyday to stretch, grow and expose my heart.  He is doing a work, that is certain.  Pretty cool, though, yes?

You remember this, right?  The Before, stained and dingy.

The After: Beautiful in Green!

Isn’t it so cool??!!  I absolutely love the pop of color in our bedroom.  This chair has been my faithful quiet time chair for years.  It has seen many tears and heard many prayers.  (as if a chair could hear or see!)  The cost of reupholstering it would be way out of budget.  It is still in great shape, structurally.  So what’s a girl to do.  Why paint it, of course!  What do you think?  Three cups of paint and a little wax, and she is like new!

Have a glorious rest of your weekend.  May His face shine upon you!!

Yep, that about sums it up!  (you’ll want to hang around to the end of the post, trust me!)

The Urban dictionary describes this word as:  describing any quality that is so indescribable that you have no real word to say it with.

That is how I feel about the news I am about to reveal to you.  I have been just about busting at the seams to tell you something wonderful that is happening here at {re}imagined, but I have not been able to, at least, not until now!

You see, while we have been so busy preparing for the December “Shop the Barn {boutique} Sale” any spare moments have been working on this . . .

. . .  So we could launch our new website (not up yet), but we have officially become a dot-com.  You will eventually be able to find us at our very own domain, . .

. . . all in preparation for what is coming next February and March.  Am I making you crazy yet?  Have you any guesses?  Should I give you a few days to figure it out?  Not nice, is it?

Remember the title of the post?  Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious?  Well, that is exactly how I feel about being one of the featured presenters at the Mid-Michigan Women’s Expo in Lansing AND the West Michigan Women’s Expo in Grand Rapids!!!

Can you see why I chose that word for the post!!??  Let’s all celebrate with a little ‘happy dance’, shall we?  Can you hardly believe it??  Obviously I will be sharing more details in the future, but for right now, I must try and contain myself and f.o.c.u.s. on the tasks at hand.
